A project, as so often, born out of personal need/desire. 🙂
This is a binary wall clock that is 47 cm wide and 41 cm high.
With a depth of only 15 mm, it sits very close to the wall.
The clock displays the current time (including seconds) and the date (the last two digits of the year) in binary representation.
The relatively high price compared to other KNX-compatible projects results from the considerable "production effort" of this binary clock:
In addition to the large main board, there is another control board and a total of 4 acrylic glass plates have to be CNC milled, which means a machine milling time of > 3 hours alone.
The binary clock is simply attached to the wall like a picture with two nails/screws and the control board and cable disappear into a flush-mounted box. The clock is completely powered by the bus, so no additional power supply is required!
If, on the other hand, there is no bus connection but only power, an ESP32-based WLAN version of the binary clock can also be provided on request – please contact us if you are interested make contact.

Delivery as a kit:
All KNX-compatible projects offered in the shop are supplied as kits and without software. Users are free to install their own software or the software available via the OpenKNX "Open Source" directories on GitHub (OAM BinaryClock) is available. In the latter case, this can be done with the OpenKNX Toolbox easiest.
