In addition to the regular Presence Multisensor as well as the compact presence detectors for a MR16 ceiling mount and for the Wall, there is also this variant here – specifically for outdoor use.
In addition to the RF presence sensor, a motion detector (PIR) can also be installed to avoid false triggers, e.g. in rain or snow.
Optionally, sensors for brightness, temperature, humidity, air pressure, and VOCs can also be installed. These are encased in a waterproof metal cylinder, which is glued to the front panel to ensure no water can penetrate. All of the sensors offered here look identical and come with a short cable for easy installation in the screw terminals inside the flush-mounted box.
The outdoor presence multisensor can be discreetly integrated into the standard switch range from Gira and JUNG, although it is of course recommended to use a switch range designed for outdoor use – for example Gira TX_44 (as in the photo).
All necessary openings in the blanking plate of the switch range for all ordered sensors are CNC-milled. If a motion detector (PIR) is not installed, a distance sensor can be used instead. For this, a precisely fitting opening is also CNC-milled in the blanking plate of the switch range.
Alternatively, a 3D-printed surface-mount housing can be ordered if flush mounting is not possible with the existing switch range. This also includes a waterproof entry point for the KNX cable. ABS is a better material for outdoor use than PLA+.

The required installation depth of the presence detector is only about 25 mm, so a 40 mm deep box is generally sufficient for short sensor cables.

All OpenKNX-compatible projects offered in the shop are delivered as a kit and without software. The user is free to use his own software or the OpenKNX-compatible software, which is available via the OpenKNX “Open Source” directories on GitHub (OAM Room Controller) is available. In the latter case, this can be done with the OpenKNX Toolbox easiest.
