This is a KNX-compatible presence and multi-sensor kit.
It was created from the desire to be able to flexibly combine a presence sensor (24 GHz) with an additional motion detector, but also other sensors for brightness, temperature, air pressure, humidity, VOC and CO2. All sensors are simply plugged onto a base board.
The background is that some sensors, especially for VOC and CO2, are relatively expensive and in this way you can decide individually which sensor you want to use where - always with the same base board.
The compatible sensors can be ordered directly here in the shop on a plug-in board including matching PIN headers and spacers. All sensors, even when "fully equipped", are completely powered via the bus - no auxiliary voltage required!
In addition, two potential-free binary inputs are available as PIN headers. Optionally, a suitable cable with open ends can be ordered for your own extension.
If the 3D printed housing is ordered but no motion detector (PIR) is included, the housing will be delivered without the central opening for the motion detector (see photo).
This kit is designed for installation in a standard flush-mounted box (installation depth 25 mm), e.g. on the ceiling or wall. A version with a low installation depth (10 mm) or for surface mounting can also be provided as an option.
The base board has a diameter of 90 mm, the maximum diameter of the housing is 130 mm and it is only around 20 mm high (30 mm for the surface-mounted version).
Additionally, there's an extra-flat housing available (only about 5 mm protruding from the ceiling). This requires a 90 mm installation diameter, making it ideal for use in suspended ceilings or HaloX recessed ceiling boxes (ceiling installation depth only about 40 mm). The different housing options can be selected under "Mounting Type".

Delivery as a kit:
All KNX-compatible projects offered in the shop are supplied as kits and without software. Users are free to install their own software or the software available via the OpenKNX "Open Source" directories on GitHub (OAM Room Controller) is available. In the latter case, this can be done with the OpenKNX Toolbox easiest.
