Kit including accessories for an OpenKNX-compatible, round touch display.
This board is compatible with the Seeed Studio Round Display, which can be ordered directly if desired. The glass front of the display has a diameter of 43 mm.
The display is completely powered via the bus, so no additional power supply is required!
This display kit can be used either independently (with the display mounted itself) or fully integrated into a switch range. For the latter application, a CNC-milled front panel can be ordered for a switch range from Gira and JUNG. This includes
- the original front panel from Gira/JUNG (some colors selectable), with a central milling for the touch display, where it is glued (e.g. with hot glue) and
- the original support ring from Gira or a printed one for JUNG for attachment to a standard flush-mounted installation box.
If you are interested in integrating the switch ranges of other manufacturers than Gira and JUNG, please make contact.
If the display is ordered along with the product, three small, printed spacers and appropriately sized mounting screws are also included. Please ensure that both DIP switches on the display board are enabled.
If you want to display more than one page on the screen and switch between different pages, we recommend ordering the two touch buttons:
These are glued below the display from behind into the lower left and right corners of the switch insert. Touching the switch insert at these two corners changes the page.
Optionally, a sensor for temperature, humidity, air pressure, and VOC can be used. This is simply plugged onto the circuit board and soldered in place. There are also two resistors on the PCB, marked "280" and "680." If the "BME280" is used as a sensor, the resistor numbered "680" must be removed, and vice versa. If the sensor is ordered with the sensor and everything is soldered, the corresponding resistor is also removed.
A standard flush-mounted box (Ø 68 mm, screw spacing: 60 mm) can also be ordered:
The required installation depth of the switch insert is only max. 15 mm, so a 40 mm deep box is completely sufficient.

Delivery as a kit:
All OpenKNX-compatible projects offered in the shop are delivered as a kit and without software. The user is free to use his own software or the OpenKNX-compatible software, which is available via the OpenKNX “Open Source” directories on GitHub (OAM-TouchRound) is available. In the latter case, this can be done with the OpenKNX Toolbox easiest.
