This is a kit for an OpenKNX-compatible 2-way or 4-way button for the Gira switch range.
There is both optical (RGB LEDs), acoustic (a buzzer) and even double haptic (switch “click” and vibration) feedback.
The RGB LEDs and, of course, the switches are always included. A buzzer and a small vibration motor can be ordered as options.
This makes it possible to provide not only color feedback but also direct acoustic or haptic feedback (short vibration) after a button press to indicate that a triggered action has occurred.
Optionally, a sensor for temperature, humidity, air pressure, and VOC can be used. This is simply plugged onto the circuit board and soldered in place. There are also two resistors on the PCB, marked "280" and "680." If the "BME280" is used as a sensor, the resistor numbered "680" must be removed, and vice versa. If the sensor is ordered with the sensor and everything is soldered, the corresponding resistor is also removed.
The matching switch inserts from Gira can be ordered directly on request.
A standard flush-mounted box (Ø 68 mm, screw spacing: 60 mm) can also be ordered:
The required installation depth of the button is only approx. 25 mm, so a 40 mm deep box is generally sufficient.

Please note:
To upload the firmware of all OpenKNX compatible projects offered here in the shop, this programmer needed.
Delivery as a kit:
All OpenKNX-compatible projects offered in the shop are delivered as a kit and without software. Users are free to use their own software or the OpenKNX-compatible software available from the OpenKNX open source repositories on GitHub. In the latter case, this can be done with the OpenKNX Toolbox easiest.
