If you don&#039;t already have a switch insert, you can also order one.<\/p>\n<p>The additional board is mounted on the back of the base board of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ab-smarthouse.com\/en\/product\/openknx-fingerprint-leser\/\">Access Control Fingerprint &amp; NFC<\/a> plugged in. PIN headers of the appropriate length are included, which must be soldered onto the base board. This additional board is then simply plugged onto it.<\/p>\n<p>In principle, the NFC reader should work with all common NFC tags (13.56 MHz), but the &quot;unique ID&quot; used by the tags is often only 4 bytes long (= less secure). The NFC tags (cards, stickers, key chains and bracelets), which can be ordered here as an option, have been tested for compatibility and all return a 7-byte ID.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A notice:<\/strong> This additional board is available from hardware revision v1.4 of the main board of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ab-smarthouse.com\/en\/product\/openknx-fingerprint-leser\/\">Access Control Fingerprint &amp; NFC<\/a> compatible.
