This is a kit for LED light bulbs suitable for MR16 spotlight holders for 48V and 24V.
2x 16 LEDs are placed on the aluminum board for Tunable White, with the following LED variants currently available:
- The widest possible color spectrum of 2700-5700 K: At 2x 120 mA it achieves approximately 1650 lm (with all 32 LEDs on 100 %).
- For those who don't need it so warm, 3500-5700 K: At 2x 120 mA it achieves approx. 1690 lm (with all 32 LEDs at 100 %).
- For those who prefer a particularly warm 2700-4000 K and don't need it to be so bright: at 2x 90 mA it achieves approximately 1075 lm (with all 32 LEDs at 100 %).
Only high-quality LEDs from Lumileds and OSRAM are used, and all currently offered LED variants have a CRI of 95.
The LED board is simply mounted on the heatsink with some thermal paste (which can be ordered separately if required) and secured with 2x M2 screws (included).
The heat sink is manufactured specifically for this application and, along with the LED board inside, can be mounted directly into an MR16 mount like a "normal" MR16 spotlight. The installation depth is minimal, with the heat sink protruding less than 2 cm to the rear.
A CNC-milled acrylic diffuser is placed in front of the heat sink and thus the LED board so that the light is nicely scattered and the LED board is not visible.
While this MR16 heatsink can be used in any MR16 spotlight holder, the width of the front plate varies depending on the holder, meaning the acrylic glass plate offered here will certainly not fit every holder. This plate is specifically designed for the spotlight holders offered here and fits perfectly.
The light source can be used with both a constant current and a constant voltage dimmer. Constant voltage requires a current regulator, which can also be ordered separately. This is then soldered directly onto the circuit board, just like the LEDs.
