Kit including accessories for an OpenKNX-compatible 8-way constant current LED dimmer for flush mounting.
There are 8 channels, each with a maximum current of 2 A at a maximum voltage of 65 V DC. The constant current is set per channel via a sense resistor between 0 and 2,000 mA.
The resistance per channel can be set for a desired current (I mA) using the formula R mΩ = 200,000 : I mA be calculated. Important: The resistor must be rated for at least 400 mW and have an SMD size of 1206 or 1210.
Suitable resistors for common currents can be ordered directly here. 1206 resistors with a 1 Ω tolerance and a maximum of 500 mW are supplied. If ordered "soldered," these SMD resistors will, of course, also be pre-soldered.
Switching a power supply relay via an external switching actuator (such as Switching Actuator, 8-way, 6 TE) is possible. The input voltage can be measured to delay the dimming of the LEDs until the power supply is activated and sufficient voltage is present (= no flickering).
In addition, four binary inputs and a relay (max. 10 A at 230 V AC) can be connected directly via an additional board.
The optional housing is printed as standard in an environmentally friendly "PLA+" material, which consists largely of biodegradable components (e.g., corn starch). This material is dimensionally stable up to an ambient temperature of approximately 55°C, which is usually sufficient. For consistently high currents on all six channels or high ambient temperatures, printing in ABS plastic is also possible.

Please note:
To upload the firmware of all OpenKNX compatible projects offered here in the shop, this programmer needed.
Delivery as a kit:
All OpenKNX compatible projects offered in the shop are delivered as a kit and without software. The user is free to use his own software or the OpenKNX compatible software, which is available via the “Open Source” directories of OpenKNX on GitHub In the latter case, this can be done with the OpenKNX Toolbox easiest.
